Psychological Evaluations
Evergreen Psychological Evaluations provides comprehensive, evidence-based, data-informed assessments tailored to each child, adolescent, or young adult’s unique needs. Our compassionate, strengths-focused evaluations deliver clear insights, practical recommendations, and timely reports to guide families, schools, and providers.

ADHD Evaluations
Evergreen provides comprehensive ADHD evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults across Northern Colorado. Our assessments move beyond simple checklists to evaluate the whole person and identify all factors affecting attention, behavior, and functioning.
Each evaluation includes a thorough intake interview, standardized rating scales, performance-based cognitive and attention testing, screening for common co-occurring conditions, and review of educational or collateral records. Findings are integrated into a clear diagnostic summary with personalized recommendations for treatment, school supports, and follow-up.

Autism Spectrum Evaluations
Evergreen provides comprehensive evaluations assessing for autism spectrum disorder. Our evaluations explore individual patterns of behavior and social communication and examine how those patterns have impacted daily living.

Evaluating neurodiversity centers on understanding brain differences as natural and valuable. Comprehensive evaluations include an in-depth intake interview to understand developmental history and current social communication functioning. A battery of tests are curated and then administered to each client, including autism specific assessments. Neurodiversity represents a wide variety of strengths, sensory needs, cognitive profiles, communication patterns, and every day skills. Evergreen evaluations will provide tailored recommendations to fit each unique client assessed.

Social, Emotional, Behavioral Evaluations
Evergreen looks at the whole person in every evaluation. Social, emotional, and behavioral functioning is often a key part of the picture. Our psychologists assess for depression, anxiety, obsessive thoughts, and trauma-related concerns.

These issues commonly occur with ADHD and other neurodivergent profiles, and symptoms can look similar to ADHD or autism. Clear assessment can result in a more accurate diagnosis and connecting with the most effective resources.
Using caregiver and teacher reports, interviews, tests, and observation, we determine whether difficulties come from anxiety, mood, trauma, social skills, or executive functioning. Findings lead to simple, practical recommendations for families, schools, and mental health providers.

Psychoeducational Evaluations
Evergreen provides comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations designed to identify the underlying factors contributing to academic struggles and determine whether dyslexia or other learning disabilities are present.
To build a complete learning profile, we gather a detailed educational history, obtain current teacher feedback, and administer standardized tests of academic achievement, cognitive skills, and executive functioning tailored to the client’s age and needs.

Evergreen psychologists integrate history, test results, and observations to explain why learning is difficult, highlight strengths, and produce a strengths‑based, practical plan with prioritized recommendations for home, school, and therapy to support learning now and in the future.

Twice Exceptional (2e) Evaluations
Twice exceptional testing identifies significant intellectual or creative strengths alongside coexisting learning, attention, or social-emotional challenges.

Many twice exceptional learners fly under the radar at school while still needing targeted supports to fully access and engage in their education.

A comprehensive, whole-child evaluation prevents mislabeling by capturing both exceptional abilities and specific areas of need. Recommendations balance enrichment and challenge with practical accommodations and interventions, so each learner can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
While Evergreen Psychological Evaluations is able to support the majority of assessment needs for children, youth, and young adults, the practice does not offer custody evaluations, parental fitness evaluations, competency or forensic evaluations, or pre-surgical evaluations.
